Frankston Street Chaplains is a dedicated initiative bringing trained volunteers from local Christian churches together to provide care, support, and a safe presence on the streets of Frankston.

These compassionate Street Chaplains serve without discrimination, helping those who are:
- Enjoying a night out and seeking a safe environment
- Rough sleepers in need of support
- Anyone vulnerable, alone, or at risk
The mission is simple: to be Good Samaritans—not preaching, but offering care, protection, and a listening ear to those who need it most. Whether it’s lending a hand, ensuring someone gets home safely, or just offering a friendly and non-judgmental presence, Street Chaplains help make Frankston a safer place.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

VOLUNTEER:
We need dedicated volunteers willing to be trained and equipped by Frankston Street Chaplains. Volunteers work in small teams to engage with the community and provide practical and emotional support to those in need.

SUPPORT:
Frankston Street Chaplains operates under Frankston Life Community, a registered Not-for-Profit. Donations help sustain this vital work, ensuring ongoing training, resources, and support for those on the streets.

If so, we'd love to connect with you! We're in the planning stages of an exciting new project in the heart of Frankston, and we need a dedicated Admin Volunteer to help bring this vision to life.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
​
The Frankston Street Chaplains Initiative is a new, street-based outreach program designed to provide practical help, emotional support, and spiritual care to those facing challenges such as homelessness, addiction, mental health issues, and general vulnerability. Our goal is to create a compassionate and non-judgmental presence on the streets, offering support where it is needed most—particularly along Young Street and throughout the Frankston CBD.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
​
This Admin Volunteer role is specifically for the planning and development stages of the Frankston Street Chaplains Initiative, with an estimated commitment of 1 to 3 months. There is also an opportunity to join our administration team on an ongoing basis once the project is launched!
